A local resident carries towels atop dry himself after he waded in neck deep water that covered him in grease at the island town of Afanasiivka, Ukraine on June 9, 2023. The region is experiencing flooding from the Inhulets River after the Nova Kakhovka Dam was blown up. Local residents said the water appears to be going down.
